Incoloy Plates and Sheets are nickel-iron-chromium alloys, and specific grades like Incoloy 800, 825, etc., differ in composition. General elements are 30–45% nickel, 19–23% chromium, and molybdenum, copper, titanium, and iron as additions. All these elements possess excellent resistance to carburization, oxidation, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Mechanical characteristics consist of a tensile strength of about 550–700 MPa and yield strength of about 300 MPa, with good creep and rupture properties at elevated temperatures. Incoloy alloys are stable in structure, weldable, and have good formability along with acidic and high-temperature corrosion resistance.
