Stainless Steel 310S Coil/Slitting Coil contains mainly Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (19–22%), Iron (remainder), and trace elements of Manganese, Silicon, Carbon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. It has superior corrosion and oxidation resistance even at higher temperatures. The alloy has a melting point of 1400–1455°C and a density of 8.0 g/cm³. It possesses mechanical properties such as tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and an elongation of about 40%. It is also very good in terms of toughness and creep resistance, thus suitable for use in high-temperature conditions.
