Super Duplex Steel S32760 is a very alloyed duplex stainless steel with around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.5% molybdenum, and minor additions of tungsten, nitrogen, and copper. The steel has the advantages of austenitic as well as ferritic stainless steels with good pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion resistance. The alloy has a tensile strength of 750–930 MPa and yield strength of around 550 MPa, with excellent ductility and impact strength even at sub-zero temperatures. Its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance make it well-suited for critical applications in aggressive environments.
