Stainless Steel 465 is a martensitic, age-hardenable Chromium-Nickel-Titanium alloy with around 11.0–13.0% Chromium, 1.3–1.8% Nickel, 1.5% Titanium, and traces of Molybdenum, Carbon, and Manganese. It combines a unique balance of high strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. In the H950 condition, it has a tensile strength of approximately 1310 MPa with good notch toughness and a yield strength of 1170 MPa. The alloy has excellent mechanical properties in both annealed and heat-treated conditions and is thus well suited for demanding aerospace and structural applications.
