The composition of Duplex Steel S32205 Circles is 22% Chromium, 5–6.5% Nickel, and 3% Molybdenum, with iron, manganese, and nitrogen serving as balancing elements. Excellent mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion are provided by this dual-phase alloy, which is composed of austenite and ferrite. It has an elongation of up to 25%, a yield strength of about 450 MPa, and a tensile strength of 620–800 MPa. The alloy is perfect for high-performance industrial applications because it works incredibly well in acidic and chloride-rich environments and has a strong resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
