Nickel Alloy 201 is a commercially pure wrought nickel with an alloy content of a minimum of 99.6% nickel. It contains negligible carbon (0.02% max) content, which makes it more resistant to graphitization and retains its ductility even at elevated temperatures. The alloy provides superior mechanical properties with a tensile strength of approximately 403 MPa and 103 MPa for yield strength. It also exhibits superior thermal and electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance in neutral and reducing environments. Nickel 201 Angles are suitable for caustic solution applications, high-temperature processing, and electrical devices.
