Super Duplex Steel S32750 comprises about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and minor additions of nitrogen and manganese. The alloy provides a two-phase microstructure of austenite and ferrite, providing the best mechanical strength and enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The tensile strength of the material is about 795 MPa and its yield strength is 550 MPa, with very good impact toughness at sub-zero temperatures. These features make S32750 Channels best suited for demanding applications in hostile chemical and seawater environments.
