Alloy C263 Foil is a nickel-based superalloy consisting mainly of nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), and iron (Fe). It has about 50% Ni, 20% Co, 20% Cr, with Mo (6%), Ti (2%), and Al (0.5%) additions. It provides high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and age-hardening, and its mechanical properties consist of tensile strength of 930 MPa, yield strength of about 450 MPa, and high resistance to creep, making it suitable for service in areas experiencing extreme thermal and mechanical stress.
