Copper Nickel 90/10 Foil contains 90% copper and 10% nickel and traces of iron and manganese for greater strength and resistance to corrosion. It provides high mechanical stability and high thermal conductivity. The alloy has 310–350 MPa tensile strength, yield strength of about 90–130 MPa, and elongation of approximately 30%. It also exhibits good fabricability, weldability, and biofouling and seawater corrosion resistance. These characteristics make Cu-Ni 90/10 foil appropriate for demanding uses in marine, power generation, and chemical processing applications.
