Hastelloy C276 Angles consist primarily of nickel (about 57%) with molybdenum (15–17%) and chromium (14.5–16.5%) additions, iron (4–7%), and traces of cobalt, tungsten, and manganese. The alloy provides exceptional resistance to severe oxidizing and reducing agents. The tensile strength of the alloy is about 690 MPa and the yield strength is about 283 MPa. The alloy has excellent ductility and toughness even in severe environments and high temperatures. Hastelloy C276 also offers superior fabricability and weldability and is thus ideal for intricate and high-stress industrial uses.
