Haynes 25 / L605 Sheets and Plates are cobalt-based superalloys with around 52% cobalt, 20% chromium, 15% tungsten, and 10% nickel, along with trace levels of iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. They provide good strength and toughness, even at high temperatures. Typical yield and tensile strengths are about 120 ksi (827 MPa), yield strength about 50 ksi (345 MPa), and elongation about 30%. The alloy possesses excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance up to 980°C (1800°F) with stability and longevity under hard operating conditions.
