Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. Its typical composition comprises about 38–46% nickel, 19.5–23.5% iron, 19.5–23.5% chromium, 2.5–3.5% molybdenum, and 1.5–3% copper. This alloy possesses superior resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress-corrosion cracking, and pitting. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 585 MPa and yield strength of about 220 MPa. Incoloy 825 Angles also display outstanding creep and rupture strength at high temperatures, thereby being perfect for harsh environments where corrosion resistance and strength are paramount.
