Inconel 600 is an alloy of nickel-chromium-iron consisting of about 72% nickel, 14–17% chromium, and 6–10% iron with minor amounts of manganese, carbon, sulfur, and silicon. It has outstanding mechanical strength and durability at high temperatures. The alloy has a tensile strength of about 655 MPa and a yield strength of about 310 MPa. Inconel 600 Channels also possess outstanding resistance against oxidation, carburization, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Due to its excellent formability, weldability, and thermal conductivity, the alloy is ideal for use in cryogenic and high-heat conditions in demanding industrial processes.
