Nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum Inconel 617 Sheets and Plates are known for their outstanding mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation. The usual composition consists of about Ni 44.5-62%, Cr 20-24%, Co 10-15%, Mo 8-10%, Fe ≤3%, and traces of Al and Ti. The alloy possesses tensile strength of 760 MPa, yield strength of 345 MPa, and good creep-rupture characteristics at high temperatures. With a melting range of 1332-1380°C and greater metallurgical stability, Inconel 617 offers superior endurance in harsh operating conditions.
