Nickel Alloy 200 is primarily composed of more than 99% nickel along with trace amounts of iron, carbon, and manganese. The formula gives an extraordinary resistance to corrosion, particularly in environments that are reducing in nature. The alloy contains tensile strength of around 550 MPa and yield strength approximately 210 MPa. It provides good ductility with elongation of approximately 40% and a Brinell hardness of 90 to 150. Due to its superior thermal conductivity and resistance to mechanical stability at high temperatures, it finds application in challenging uses.
