Rene 41 is a nickel-based superalloy containing about 47.5% nickel, 19% chromium, 11% cobalt, 10% molybdenum, 3.15% titanium, and 1.6% aluminum, with balanced percentages of iron and trace elements. It has good mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion up to 980°C (1800°F). Rene 41 provides tensile strength in excess of 1380 MPa and superb creep rupture strength. This material is age-hardenable, offering enhanced structural stability, so it suits high-temperature and high-stress applications. Weldability and oxidation resistance further enhance its behavior in harsh environments.
