Stainless Steel 13-8 PH Sheets and Plates generally have 13% Chromium, 8% Nickel, additions of Aluminum, Molybdenum, and traces of Carbon. Such a measured composition ensures a fine balance of strength and corrosion resistance. The alloy has good tensile strength (about 190-200 ksi), yield strength (about 170-180 ksi), good hardness (about HRC 38-44), and ductility. The alloy retains its properties even after heat treatment and under harsh environments. The steel also has high stress corrosion cracking resistance, and hence it is ideal for high-strength structural applications.
