17-7 PH Sheet and Plates consist mainly of Iron, Chromium (16-18%), Nickel (6.5-7.75%), Aluminum (0.75-1.5%), and Manganese with trace amounts of Carbon and Phosphorus. This precipitation-hardened alloy possesses greater strength and corrosion resistance. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of around 1310 MPa, yield strength of about 1170 MPa, and elongation of around 6-10%. Hardness is as high as 38-45 HRC based on heat treatment. Very good fatigue strength and little distortion when undergoing heat treatment make it a good fit for high-performance applications.
