Stainless Steel 304H Channel contains chiefly chromium (18-20%), nickel (8-11%), carbon (0.04-0.10%), manganese (≤2%), silicon (≤1%), phosphorus (≤0.045%), and sulfur (≤0.03%). Its mechanical strengths are tensile strength of 515 MPa (minimum), yield strength of 205 MPa (minimum), and elongation of 40% (minimum). The material is very tough even at cryogenic temperatures and retains higher strength at higher temperatures, which makes it suitable for those applications where heat resistance and strength are necessary.
