The main components of stainless steel 310H sheets and plates are 25% chromium, 20% nickel, and a higher carbon content (~0.04–0.10%) than regular 310 grade, which improves high-temperature strength. Manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulphur are additional elements. This alloy has an elongation of about 40%, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of 515 MPa. Up to 1100°C, it maintains its strength and resistance to oxidation. It is appropriate for extended exposure to high temperatures and harsh thermal environments due to its high carbon content, which enhances creep resistance.
