Stainless Steel 316H Angle is austenitic, chromium-nickel stainless steel with a higher content of carbon to provide added high-temperature strength. Its general composition consists of 16–18% Chromium, 10–14% Nickel, 2–3% Molybdenum, up to 0.10% Carbon, and the rest Iron. The alloy is highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation, particularly in acidic and chloride conditions. It has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 40%. These mechanical properties render it ideal for demanding industrial applications where heat resistance and structural integrity are required.
