16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.5% titanium make up stainless steel 316Ti foils. By stabilising the alloy and extending its resistance to intergranular corrosion, the titanium addition stops carbide precipitation during welding. Even at high temperatures, these foils have outstanding elongation and toughness, with a yield strength of 205 MPa and a tensile strength of roughly 515 MPa. Additionally, the alloy has good resistance to creep and stress rupture. It is appropriate for harsh chemical and thermal environments due to its mechanical stability as well as resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
