Stainless Steel Chequered Plates and Sheets are essentially made up of iron, chromium (not less than 10.5%), and small quantities of nickel, molybdenum, and carbon to provide increased corrosion resistance and hardness. Chromium content creates a protective layer that stops rusting and oxidation. The sheets possess excellent mechanical properties of high tensile strength, hardness, and toughness, withstanding heavy-duty applications. They possess good ductility and impact toughness, with an ability to twist while fabrication and yet remain structure as a whole under stress.
