About 17–19% chromium and 0.90–1.40% molybdenum make up stainless steel EN 1.4513, which is stabilised with titanium to improve corrosion resistance and weldability. It has trace amounts of silicon and manganese and very little carbon (maximum 0.03%). With an elongation of about 20%, this ferritic steel has a tensile strength of about 450–600 MPa and a yield strength of about 250–300 MPa. EN 1.4513 is perfect for applications requiring high temperatures and moderately aggressive environments due to its exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking, oxidation, and thermal fatigue.
