Super Duplex Steel S32760 Foil is made up of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 3.5% molybdenum, along with some tungsten, nitrogen, and copper. This well-balanced duplex structure (austenitic-ferritic) provides impressive strength and excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The foil boasts outstanding mechanical properties, with a tensile strength reaching up to 800 MPa and a yield strength around 550 MPa. It also maintains high impact toughness, even in colder temperatures.
