Tungsten Foil consists of almost pure tungsten (W) with a purity of 99.9% or more. It possesses excellent mechanical and heat properties, such as an extremely high melting point of about 3422°C and superior thermal expansion resistance. Its tensile strength varies from 500 to 1000 MPa, respectively, with processing conditions and thickness. Tungsten Foil is highly dense (19.3 g/cm³), possessed high-temperature ductility, and has good electrical conductivity, which makes it perfectly suitable for applications in harsh environments where both strength and thermal resistance are of the utmost importance.
